Your answers. Your choice.

A private space
for reflection.

The assessment code processes your answers and value-card choices on your device. There is no Ownfacet account, and the application does not send individual answers or chosen priorities to an assessment server.

What stays in this browser

When local storage is available, we save progress and completed results in this browser on this device. Politics, the personality overview, personality in depth, character strengths, personal values, interpersonal patterns, the two career-interest forms, and reasoning each use separate records. Completing or clearing one does not combine it with the others.

Saved self-report records include your responses. Values card-sort records include your importance groups and any priorities you deliberately select and order. Its optional context journal stores personal text and user-defined values in a separate record, only when you choose Save; there is no free-text autosave. These journal entries do not change the source cards, sort, or ranked priorities. Interpersonal patterns asks about your own general behavior; it does not ask for a partner’s name or send answers to another person. Optional report bookmarks and reflection notes are also stored in separate local records only when you choose their save controls. They do not change scores, and ordinary report downloads exclude those notes. Clear these reading choices within their own reflection panel. A different device, browser, or private browsing session does not automatically have access to these records.

Anyone who can use the same browser profile may be able to see saved answers or results, including optional saved journal text. Browser settings, clearing site data, or private browsing can remove saved records. Storage is local; it is not an encrypted account or a cloud backup.

Control your saved data

  • Use the assessment’s restart or clear controls to remove the records described in its confirmation.
  • The personality overview and in-depth inventories keep separate records. Their result controls do not clear each other.
  • Personality, strengths, values, interpersonal patterns, career interests, and reasoning result pages let you clear their own records without clearing another path. You can deliberately download a local result file.
  • Clear the optional values context journal within its own panel. Clearing the card-sort exercise keeps the separate journal and report reading notes; clearing the journal keeps your card choices and priorities.
  • To remove all Ownfacet progress, results, optional notes, and imported comparison profiles, clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Keep any exports you need first.

If browser storage is blocked or full, the experience explains the saving limitation. An unsaved session or result can be lost when you close or leave the page. Use the available print or download controls to keep a result before leaving; local saving is not a cloud backup.

Review choices and optional score history

The six self-report questionnaire forms can save review flags, your optional checkpoint choice, and your place while revisiting an earlier answer. These are navigation reminders, not scored responses. They are included with progress in a private source-answer backup and disappear when that questionnaire’s progress is cleared or completed.

Personality overview, Personality in depth, Character strengths, Interpersonal patterns, both Career forms, and Matrix reasoning offer separate score histories. Nothing is added automatically. Choosing Save this score snapshot stores the scores, edition, completion date and any context you enter, without individual answers. Reasoning snapshots also record the exposure and session conditions you deliberately select. Saved history does not establish first exposure, reliable change, IQ or population percentiles.

History and its optional context use separate local records. Clearing an assessment keeps its score history; clear a history within that result page’s score-history panel or My assessments → score histories, including after clearing a current result. Ordinary profile JSON, readable HTML and result printing exclude history and snapshot notes. The dedicated private score-history JSON contains saved snapshots and their saved context, without individual answers or unsaved text; it is a separate export format with no automatic restoration. Private source-answer backups exclude score history. Clearing site data removes it along with other local records, so keep any deliberate downloads you need first.

Career exploration choices

The 30- and 60-activity Career forms keep independent occupation shortlists and action plans. Bookmark and ordering controls save the chosen occupation codes without autosaving current plan text. Plan notes save only when you choose Save my action plan. They do not change answers, scores, or matching. Ordinary profile JSON, readable reports, and result printing exclude the private shortlist panel; dedicated private-shortlist HTML/JSON downloads contain selected occupation references and your current plan text, including unsaved changes, without questionnaire answers or scores.

Clearing a Career questionnaire keeps its separate shortlist and plan. Open or clear either one at Career interests → My occupation shortlists. Clearing a shortlist keeps questionnaire data and the other form’s choices. Saved personal text can be read by anyone using the same browser profile. Private source-answer backups exclude these notes; use the dedicated private-shortlist download to keep them.

Display preferences and a study plan

Text size, roomier spacing and minimal-motion preferences save on this browser independently of your answers. Reset them in Display preferences. Browser storage can fail; the controls then apply to the current page and report that the preference could not be saved.

The optional study planner saves personal text only when you choose Save my plan. It reads no assessment answers and creates no score, calendar event or reminder. Clear or reload the plan within its own controls. Its private text download includes the current notes, including unsaved changes, without assessment records; the download does not save the plan locally. Ordinary page printing and source-answer backups omit these notes. Anyone using the same browser profile can read a saved plan.

Private backup and restoration

The private-backup page creates a file only when you deliberately request it. That file includes individual answers, unfinished progress and saved review edits for supported forms. It excludes score histories, optional notes, comparison settings and earlier vector-only political records. Keep it private. Importing validates the file locally and previews each supported form before you choose any replacement; no file is sent to an assessment server. Storage failure can interrupt a restoration, which the page reports. These private backups use a different format from score exports and conflict recovery files.

What you choose to share

Political result links deliberately include twelve-axis scores and, when available, response coverage in the URL. They do not include individual answers. Anyone with the link can read that profile; links can also remain in browser history or in the service where you post them.

Personality, strengths, values, interpersonal patterns, career interests, and reasoning answers and results are not placed in a shareable URL. Questionnaire and reasoning result downloads contain scores and a completion date, without individual answers or reasoning solutions.

The default values export contains source and version details, group counts, and any valid priorities you deliberately ranked. It includes the full individual one-hundred-card sort only if you explicitly select that export option. There is no values psychometric score. Ordinary snapshot downloads, readable reports, and result printing exclude the optional context journal. Dedicated private-journal JSON, HTML, and print controls include your current personal text and custom values, including unsaved changes, without the 100-card sort. Those exports do not save notes locally. Downloaded files and printed reports become shareable wherever you send or save them.

Private recovery downloads are different from score exports: after a cross-tab conflict, they contain this tab’s individual answers or personal text, as explained by the recovery control. Keep those files private. A values result recovery can include its individual card choices and optional journal text. Score-based report recovery can include individual answers, current report-reflection text, and current score-history context fields; a Career recovery can additionally include shortlist-plan notes. Recovery files are not automatically imported or sent anywhere. Career exploration links open external O*NET occupation pages for the occupation you choose, or an interest-area browsing page. They do not attach your scores or individual answers, but the external site receives the ordinary request for that page. Its privacy practices apply there.

Ordinary website traffic

Your browser still requests pages and assets from the hosting provider. Hosting infrastructure may process request information such as IP addresses and access logs under its own policies. Processing answers locally does not make ordinary website requests anonymous.

The current application has no advertising pixels or third-party analytics script. Fonts and assessment assets are served with the site. External source links take you to websites with their own privacy practices.
